Testing CIFS domain controllers
You can test the connections between the CIFS domain controllers and their storage systems to ensure they are functional.
Steps 
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.
2.
Under the selected host storage system, click Configuration > Protocols > CIFS to display the CIFS window.
3.
If the appropriate tab is not displayed, click the Domain tab.
4.
Select the domain you want to test and click Test.
System Manager displays a dialog box containing information for the domain controller.
